The room was comfortable, but it felt a bit small for a double room.

missingWrote a review on Dec 06room sizeshower quality
my stay was disappointingly subpar. the room was incredibly cramped, practically suffocating, and the shower was just an afterthought. it would have been nice to receive a complimentary gesture, especially given how far my expectations were shattered. almost left a good review, but couldn't get past the lack of concern for comfort, just plain unacceptable.

only downside was that the wifi was kinda spotty in the room. also, parking can be a bit tight.

perfect for exploring popular attractions while enjoying serene surroundings
I was blown away by the service in this lodge, where the couple running the place couldn’t have been more helpful. the location made it easy to walk to the harbour, and the various eating options, including a delightful gelato place just around the corner, added to the charm of my stay.

Had a canny time here! The decor was lush and loved that fresh milk and posh hot chocolate in the room. Breakfast was a belter with lots of choice. Only downside was the bathroom felt a bit snug, but overall, what a great spot!

We stayed with our teenage children and loved the location! Just a short walk to local pubs, shops, and activities like kayaking. Claire and Steve were fantastic hosts, and the breakfast had a great range of options, each presented beautifully.
My wife says that more family-friendly rooms would be great.

Awesome spot for relaxation
We stayed for 1 night in a Twin Room. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had loads of options, and I loved the outdoor dining area. Only bummer was that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in our room. it was perfect for exploring Porthmadog. No complaints at all!

missingWrote a review on Jul 10cozy courtyardfriendly staffdelicious breakfastnarrow stairs
Had a fantastic time with friends! The cozy courtyard was great for enjoying drinks. The breakfast spread had something for everyone, and we loved the comfy beds. We explored nearby kayaking and took a scenic walk. Plenty of parking made it easy to come and go!
The stairs going down to the dining area were a bit narrow, which made it tricky for some of us carrying food.
